I am a designer and researcher. My work focuses on the interactions of technology, urban governance, and spatial politics using methods from critical urban studies and geographic information systems.
I am currently an Associate at WXY where I lead projects that use computational methods to assist local governments with design and policy challenges. I also teach courses on mapping and spatial research methods, and on drawing as a tool for collective decision making at the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation at Columbia University.
I have previously worked with the Center for Spatial Research, the Center for Research on Housing Opportunity, Mobility, and Equity (HOME) at the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development, Regional Plan Association, & Interboro Partners.
